Barratt Homes

Barratt Homes wanted to make their homes more desirable to a new generation of homebuyers. I worked closely with the design and UX teams to rebuild Barratt Homes from the ground up.

This was a huge task and I had to totally refresh large sections of the website, making sure that the tone of voice never veered into the tired cliches of estate agents' patter.

I also wrote a comprehensive new Tone of Voice guide for the company. This has been a huge success with staff, giving them a good grounding in using simple, effective language. They even have lessons on how to use it.
